Maintaining adequate humidity in a tropical reptile enclosure is one of the most constant challenges for keepers of chameleons, tree frogs, crested geckos, and other arboreal species. Misters need power and timers. Foggers need refilling and cleaning. Live plants need light and care.
The Humidity Grass needs none of that. Fill the included clear tray with water, place the absorbent fabric grass inside, and it does the rest — slowly wicking moisture upward through the fabric blades and releasing it passively into the surrounding air. No electricity. No timer. No maintenance beyond refilling the tray.
For chameleons and other species that drink from leaf surfaces rather than still water, the individual fabric blades also collect and hold water droplets — creating natural drinking points that these animals instinctively recognize and use.
